Brennen's First Day of School

Brennen is now officially an 8th grader.  This is the only picture he would let me take before he walked out the door.  We offered to go with him ahead of time and find his classes but he said "he knew the school like the back of his hand".  So I put a map of the school in his binder with his schedule anyway and told him it was there.  After he got home from his first day he said he was 40 minutes late to his first period (which is only 45 minutes long) because he couldn't find it.  It ended up being in a relocatable.  I asked him if he pulled out the map.  Nope!  LOL.  Good thing they don't count being late on the first day.  So far he is doing well  and enjoying school.
