Brennen's 13th Birthday

Can't really believe that Brennen is 13 and that I am a mom of a teenager.  It has been a great ride so far being his mom.  Brennen is such a great kid!  He learns new things so easily, gets along with pretty much anyone and is a wonderful big brother.  He is now a whopping 5'9", wears a 14 double wide in men's shoes and weighs 187 lbs.

Brennen was away at scout camp the week before his birthday so I made this fishing cake as a surprise for him when he got back.  It turned out pretty good and was a lot of fun to make.

His best friend that moved to Ohio was able to fly in and spend a few days with us during the week of his birthday.  They made a lot of plans together to go swimming and fishing and hang out with a few other friends.  It was a very fun and busy week!  He also took his cousin Kyler fishing with them he turned 12 the same day Brennen turned 13.  We also had a fun family birthday party.  Happy birthday Brennen!
