TJ's First Birthday

I can't believe my baby is one year old already!  I know everybody says that but really, where did the time go?  For his birthday he got a big-boy haircut.  His hair grows so fast this is already his second haircut.  Jason cut it while I held him still.  He did pretty good if I held him so he could see himself in the mirror.

He is such a silly little guy.  He has a bit (ok a lot) of trouble sleeping lately (last several months) but even when he doesn't get a lot of sleep at night he is very good and happy during the day.  Here are a few things about TJ.

He can say "dada" (his favorite), "mama" and "caacaa" (for cracker)  when we say the word cracker he will repeat it and run for the pantry.  Although most of the time he ends up giving his cracker to the dog.  He has been walking actually running since he was 10 months old.  He stuffs everything he can find out the dog door.  That is where he throws his bottles when he is done with them.  Took us a couple days to figure out where they were disappearing to.  He loves to takes baths and will stick his whole face in the water over and over and laugh.  His favorite food is ice-cream and apples.  His best friend is a wiener dog.  He loves to play with his brothers and sisters.  If he can't eat it, throw it. or drive it he is not interested in it.  He is completely adorable and he NEVER holds still!!

He got a fun little bumper car for his birthday.

He was pretty excited about all the silly noises it makes.

I had to help him get on it, he can almost ride it by himself.  But he is content to push it around for now.

This is from Aunt Laura and family.  It talks and sings and says his name.  He gets so excited when it says his name.  He loves this toy!

He got more stacking toys.  He loves to stack and throw them (out the dog door).

I made him a monkey cake.

He loves cake and ice cream.
