We took the kids to a nearby pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins this year. We didn't end up growing enough for everyone in our garden...dang squash bugs! The kids really enjoy picking out their pumpkins. I didn't end up getting any pictures of us carving them this year. They all drew their own designs on paper and then we helped them draw it on the pumpkin and cut it out.
We took the younger kids to a kid-friendly haunted house the weekend before Halloween. Brennen was at a scout camp so he didn't end up going. The kids loved it and even went through a second time!
We also had a ward party. Jason won second prize in the chili cook-off and the kids had a blast in the doughnut eating contest.
