St. Patrick's Day and Skating

We had a really fun St. Patrick's Day.  We started off the day with green pancakes and green milk for breakfast.  We had a pretty lazy morning just playing around and packing a little.  For lunch we had green macaroni.  After lunch we decided to do something fun since we had completed everything off of one our to-do lists.  We decided to take the kids roller skating, we have never done that so they were really excited.  After that we went home and made green eggs and ham for dinner.  It was a really fun day.  The kids love "green day", they ask me at least once a month when it is.  After dinner we had green cookies for dessert.

The best part about the whole day was when we left the "fun center", Brennen looked at me and said, "Mom, that was fun it kind of made me feel like a little kid again."  :-)
Green pancakes!
yumm, yumm!

Green macaroni, Delma thought they were green beans at first.

Here is Kiara skating,  she did really good!

Look hard you can see Brennen, he is really good on roller blades, even did a few tricks!

Tj wasn't sure what to think, he was a little mad we wouldn't let him run around in the rink.  Yes he did try and luckily I caught him before he got ran over!

Delma was very nervous and mostly wanted to skate around the rink on the carpet.

fun on the merry-go-round!

The kids got balloons, the girls got unicorns and Brennen got a baseball cap.

Kiara just loves her unicorn.

yummy!

Tj didn't think it looked very appetizing

I went to take a picture of Brennen eating but by the time I had  got everyone their food and got out the camera he was already done!  Apparently it doesn't matter what it looks like this boy will eat it!
