Christmas 2011

We had a really great Christmas this year.  On Christmas Eve we invited Travis and Becky over, we cooked a Papa Murphey's pizza, read scriptures and sang songs around the piano.  The kids got to open one present which was new pj's then we put out some cookies and milk for Santa and said our final goodbyes to Doby-Twinkle Star (see ya next year buddy!).  We had church at 9:00 am Christmas morning so we got the kids up about 7:30 am (silly kids never wake up on their own on Christmas morning!), we ate donuts for breakfast then headed into the living room to see what Santa brought.

Here is everyone ready to go see what Santa brought!

Tj thought the piano was for him, he sure loves music!

Delma was pretty excited about the pony Santa brought her.

Brennen was really hoping for a football to play around with.

Tj got a cute little inchworm.

Kiara got some cute My Little Pet Shop.

My cute boy!

Delma helping Tj play with his new toy.

We had a really great Sacrament Meeting.  Brennen sang a solo for the first time, he sang the second verse of  Oh Little Town of Bethlehem.  He did a really great job, we are very proud of him!  Jason sang a solo, sang in the choir and played the piano for various musical numbers.  It was a really nice meeting.

After we got home we went downstairs to open presents under the tree.

Check out Kiara's hair!

Tj mostly wanted the wrapping paper.

Maggie loved her new toy!

Brennen was very excited to get a new scooter,  thanks Grandma and Grandpa Workman!

Tj already figured out a good way to use the little chair Brennen got for him.

Kiara got a little sewing machine.  It actually works and is super cute!

We mad a bag with her sewing machine later that day, it turned out really cute.  She has lots of ideas of stuff she wants to make, she is really going to test my sewing skills!  I better get practicing!

Brennen got a remote control helicopter, it is lots of fun!

The girls got new comforters with matching sheets and pillowcases for their beds from grandma and grandpa

I got a kindle, which I really really love!  Jason got a camera that can take videos and pictures underwater.  He is excited to try this out on fishing trips.

We spent most of Christmas day just hanging out and playing with all our new toys, that night we went over to Jason's parents for dinner and to exchange gifts.  It was very yummy and the kids had fun playing with their cousins.

The girls got build-a-bear certificates from Brennen and Grandma and Grandpa Robison.  We went to build-a-bear a couple days after Christmas and they both picked out pink bears with dance outfits and a backpack to carry them around in.  They cashier also threw in a bear for $5 for Tj.

Here are the new bears.  Silly Delma, jumped in the picture at the last minute!

We had an awesome Christmas spending time with our family, just love these kiddos so much!
