Camping at Cleveland Res.

Can't believe it's the end of July and it's our first camping trip of the year. We are making up for it by going next weekend and two weekends after that. That is 3 out of 4 weekends in a row that we will be camping. I know that is a little nuts, especially since I feel kind of crappy. Oh well.

We ventured out to a place we have never been before and ended up at a great spot right next to the lake. It was a small one loop campground and for most of the weekend we were the only ones there. Which is weird since every place was full since it was a holiday weekend.

Turns out our little dog it a great camping/fishing dog. She doesn't really like to play in the water but she will follow us across streams or whatever if she has to. She loved getting up early in the morning to go fishing with Jason.

Here is the view from our campground. We just had to walk down a little trail and we were at the lake.

Brennen decided to jump out of the boat and swim for a while. Delma was very upset by this and thought we were going to leave him.

The water was nice and warm so Brennen swam for quite a while and was loving it.

The dog was so tired she feel asleep straddling the oar with her head resting on my fishing pole. Silly dog!

Kiara liked to rest on the middle of the boat where it was nice and warm.

The first night was a little rough trying to get the kids settled down to sleep, but by the second night as soon as I got the girls in their bags they were out.

The next day the boys went fishing a ways down the road on the river and caught some nice fish. They didn't' have a camera with them though. After they got back the kids went swimming at the little beach area right below our camp.

There were a lot of little sucker fish right by the shore so the kids had a blast trying to catch them in their nets.

Don't worry we let it go after they all got to touch it.

We had a really great time! I will do another post later about Kiara's pet that she had while we were camping.
