Delma found a little rock to sit on and rest after taking a little hike. We let her walk on the small hikes that were under half a mile, she would scream if we tried to carry her. She really enjoyed pointing at the birds and checking out all the rocks.
On the longer hikes Delma got to ride first class! Sometimes she even sneaked in a little nap.

Look close you can see the liazard. We saw lots of lizards the kids were pretty determined to catch one. They got pretty close a few times.

what a cute little hiker! Kiara got a lot of compliments from people about what a good little hiker she was.

Here we are after hiking the 1.5 mile hike to Delicate Arch. It was awesome! The kids did so great, walked the whole way with no whining and complaining. We were so proud of them.

The Sand Dunes Arch was awesome. It was only about a quarter of a mile to get there and there was this huge shaded (bonus!) sand area for the kids to play. It was like a giant sand box! We were well prepared and brought sand toys for the kids. We stayed and played for a couple hours.
