So.... our trailer got hauled off to the impound lot yesterday. The HOA at Balmoral decided on a whim (as near as we can tell) that everyone in the parking lot needed a sticker to park there. The problem? In their little newsletter, they said that "cars" needed the sticker but didn't say anything about RV's or trailers. So we spent most of today running around to the property management company to the towing yard trying to clear this up. 6 hours and $250 or so dollars later, we have our trailer back and a shiny new blue sticker on the trailer! It is a much longer story than I am posting here but needless to say: What a mess! We are going to fight these guys on this for some reimbursement!!! Why can't people just follow the rules - especially when they are the rules that they MAKE UP! Anyway, we'll post more on this as it develops.
