Delma turns two!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DELMA!!

I know I keep saying this but I really can't believe that my baby is already two years old! It is sad that she is growing up so fast but also so much fun to watch her learn and grow. We can hardly remember what life was like without her. She has such a fun personality, she makes us laugh every day and is such a joy to be around.

Here she is with her new stuffed bunny. (Thanks uncle Steven!) She now sleeps with monkey, piglet and her new bunny every night. Last night she insisted on having three sippy cups of water in her crib. I guess she wanted to make sure she wouldn't run out if she got thirsty. She also has her Whinnie the Pooh pillow and three blankets that have to be placed on her in a certain order. If we get it right then she sleeps pretty well!Here she is blowing out her candles. She did a great job!

I made her a carousel cake because this was her favorite ride at Disneyland, I think she rode it about a dozen times.Here she is playing with her new airplane for geotrax. She loves airplanes especially since she got to fly in one.She was excited to help clean the house with her new vacuum (thanks grandma Sheree!) . This vacuum is really cute and it actually works! It has a dustbuster that pops out and has a few attahements. Check out her famous half smile. For some reason she really likes making that face to pose for pictures. She also got a few new books for her birthday (thanks Aunt Shannon and Aunt Laura!) and when she wants us to read her new books she picks them up and calls them presents...too cute!

FUN FACTS ABOUT DELMA
1. She is very smart, she loves books and loves learning new things.
2. She LOVES singing and dancing. Her favorite songs to sing are "I am a Child of God" and "Teach Me to Walk in the Light".
3. She is very polite and always says please, thank-you and excuse me.
4. Delma can count to ten (learned this from playing hide and seek).
5. She knows several of her colors, she really likes to point out things that are blue and purple.
6. She is silly! She makes us laugh every day.
7. She adores her older brother and sister and loves playing with them.
8. She LOVES to share. During sacrament meeting she takes her snacks and walks around the aisles passing them out to everyone else, even the adults.
9. She is very easy going and knows exactly what she wants. As long as we figure out what that is then everything is fine. When she throws a tantrum it's a good one!! (see post coming soon about our trip to the zoo)
10. She loves cheese doritos and anything chocolate.
11. Her red curly hair is adorable!! People stop us everywhere we go to comment about her hair.
