We rented a cabin in Duck Creek Village for the week. We had such a great time, fishing and playing games and just getting some much needed R&R. Unfortunately there was a wildfire nearby so a lot of the activities we wanted to do like exploring some caves and some hiking we couldn't. The roads were closed and the air was terrible. At one point the kids thought it was snowing! But it was the ash coming down on us from the fire. We were able to do a little exploring and a fishing/swimming trip at a nearby lake. Kiara got stung by a wasp out on the lake. She was not happy about that. Despite some things being closed we had a great time, the cabin we stayed in was amazing, with plenty of space and activities that we had a great time spending time together as a family.
