The Park Strip Tree

 We have a poplar tree in our park strip that has gotten out of control, the roots are bulging out of the park strip and going to destroy the sidewalk and front yard.  We decided to cut it down.  It was a lot of work but looks way better and now we have a ton of firewood.  We planted a new little tree in the front yard to take it's place because we will really miss the shade from this big tree.  It will take many years to get shade out of this little tree though.  We celebrated all our hard work with ice cream!
