South Fork of the Ogden River Camping

We had a very interesting camping trip.  So many crazy things happened.  We just tried to take it all in stride and have a good time.

We saw a wild turkey, found and explored a cave, had to pack up and change sites the second day because the camp host didn't put out the reserved sign, caught a few fish, made an emergency trip to the dentist, a raccoon got into our drink cooler and stole our carton of soy milk, my girls befriended a little girl that was having a rough family life and needed a friend and Jason and I pulled an elderly drunk lady out of the lake when she was screaming that she was drowning after she fell down in the water and couldn't get back up (she sent us back in for her can of beer after getting her safely on shore).

Jason's parents were able to come up for the day and luckily they were there when Brennen's wire slipped out of the bracket in his braces and was jabbing into his gums.  Jason was out on the river fishing and we couldn't locate him.  Reed took Brennen into town and was able to find an after hour dentist office open that could clip the wire for him.

We had a ton of fun playing in the lake for a few hours.  Of course Brennen took off with his fishing pole for most of the time.

Kiara found and captured a few moths and butterflies.

The drunk lady at the lake made for a really good FHE around the camp fire that night as the kids asked us why she was acting that way.  We sure love spending time with our family.

Always an adventure!
