TJ's New Room

We finally finished remodeling our main floor so we decided to start on the bedrooms upstairs.  We decided to start with TJ's room mostly because his was really boring and had the least amount of furniture so it would be the easiest.   Just before Christmas we had inherited a fire truck toddler bed that my sister wasn't using anymore and Grandma Rhonda made a matching quilt and valance for him with various vehicles on it.  So we decided to stick with the vehicle theme.  We decided to paint a road on his wall with magnetic paint.  Since the wall was textured Jason had to mud it first.

Then we painted it with the magnetic paint.

We decided to paint one side of the road green like grass and the other a dirt color.  Then we painted the opposite wall blue for a sky.  TJ was very excited to help us pick out the paint and help paint his room.

Jason's sister Laura painted four pictures for his wall that match his new quilt and valance.  They looked so awesome and are just the right touch for his room.

We put clouds and planes up on his blue sky wall and his moon night light.

His room turned out really well.  We got the whole thing done in less then a week.  TJ is happy and loves playing and sleeping in his new room.  Only three more bedrooms to go!
