Jump-a-thon

Our family had the opportunity to help with a fund-raiser for a neighbor of ours.  She is a single mom that has two young boys.  She got very sick a while back and had to have both her feet and hands amputated and had a kidney transplant.  She was living out of state and was losing her house when she moved in with her best friend which is our neighbor a few doors down from us.  Our neighborhood put on a fund-raiser for her.  We had an auction and a carnival.  We helped with the carnival and donated several things including a few gift certificates for a piano tuning.  The kids had a blast at the carnival and we ended up raising over $7,000 for this sweet lady and her two kids.
