the ketchup story!
At lunch today as Kiara was squirting ketchup on her macaroni (yes we put ketchup on our macaroni...we also put peanut butter on our pancakes, not Kiara though :-) she said
"mom how is ketchup made? do you just squeeze a tomato and call it good?"
So I read the ingredients to her on the back of the bottle
INGREDIENTS: TOMATO CONCENTRATE (WATER, TOMATO PASTE), HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, CORN SYRUP, VINEGAR, SALT, ONION POWDER, SPICE & NATURAL FLAVORS.

That's funny. Did she still eat the ketchup'd macaroni?
She did still eat it. Nothing will stop that girl from eating her macaroni. (See post on St Patricks Day about green macaroni :-)
